Ingredients for marination : 500 grams of Mutton , one cup curd , one tsp red chilli powder & Garam masala , half tsp Turmeric Powder , one tsp ginger garlic paste , salt to taste & pepper .

Ingredients for Biryani : 2-3 Onions , Green chilli  & Tomatoes , 10 Chopped Mint Leaves , ¼ Cup of Coriander leaves , saffron , ¼ cooking oil or ghee , 2 tsp warmed milk , 2 cups of Basmati rice , 4 cup of water , 2-3 cloves & green cardamom pods , 1-2 inch cinnamon stick & salt to taste

Step 1 :  First Wash the mutton in a warm water then drain the water and wash it with cold water to retain the texture and pat dry

Step 2 : In a Bowl Comine the Mutton Pieces with curd , red chilli powder , turmeric powder , garam masala , ginger garlic paste & add salt and pepper to taste then leave it for 30 minutes .

Step 3 : Wash the basmati rice and soaked for the 3o minutes in water . then drain the water and add warm milk with the saffron strands.

Step 4 : Take a Handi / Cooker or a Pot , add a ghee or oil then fry the onion until becomes brownish , save some for garnishing . add more ghee followed by the whole spices , green chillies , tomatoes , once it is cooked reduce the flame & add mutton in it .

Step 5 : keep cooking the mutton , then add water & rice for at least 45 minutes until is cooked cover it with seal .

Step : 6  once the biryani is ready , remove the seal and pour the saffron milk and garnish with mint and coriander leaves & Serve the hot
